His Excellency, Archbishop Socrates Villegas, D.D., Archbishop of Lingayen-Dagupan and President of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines, celebrated Mass at the Manila Cathedral-Basilica (MCB) Crypt on November 1, 2004.
Concelebrating with him were priests of the Archdiocese, Msgr. Rolando de la Cruz, Moderator Curiae; Fr. Jun Sescon, Chancellor; Fr. Mark Munda, Parish Priest of Sta. Ana Parish, among others.
Those who joined in the mass were Religious Sisters and some lay people.
The mass was offered for the deceased Archbishops of Manila, especially those buried at MCB Crypt: Archbishop Michael O’Doherty; Archbishop Gabriel M. Reyes; Rufino Cardinal Santos, and Jaime L. Cardinal Sin. MNCC
